Fast Facts About Me

  • I have been a personal trainer for over 25 years

  • I'm a mom to three kids

  • I have a Masters in Exercise Science, and I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine

  • I LOVE jasmine tea! 

  • I have climbed Devil's Tower in Wyoming. 

  • I won a body-building contest my senior year of college at Indiana University

  • I also have training and certifications in Yoga, prenatal/postpartum wellness, post-rehab, wellness for osteoporosis, balance training, and weight loss (phew, that's a lot!)

I created Shaina Young Wellness to provide a space for individualized and holistic wellness programming.  I draw on decades of practice in the fields of fitness and Yoga to develop a program that will help you reach your goals with a safe, effective, and fun approach.

 

I integrate postural alignment, core strength, and breath awareness at the foundation of each personalized practice.  Let's partner to design a program that energizes you and allows you to move through the rest of your life feeling strong and refreshed. 

 

Together, we'll create a space for movement which honors where you are now and how you aim to evolve.
